Hotel Schmidt - Selb

I had a great stay at this hotel! The staff really went out of their way to make me comfortable - they even made me a special meal when I couldn't eat what I had ordered. The location was perfect, just a short walk from the downtown area, and the hotel facilities were clean and well-maintained. The breakfast was also a standout - it included a wide variety of foods and was prepared just before serving, so it was always fresh.

Although the hotel staff was friendly and tried to meet our needs, the building looked a little worn-out and could have used upgrades to improve the overall experience.

The breakfast had a fair selection of food, which helped start my day well prepared. the location was super convenient, It was just a short walk away from the main area, with plenty of cafes and restaurants nearby. Another positive was the view from the room, which was fantastic, my romantic escape got better with the view.

The rooms were quite shabby and outdated, which really spoilt the mood of the romantic escape I had envisaged. the showerhead was rusty, and the bedding wasn't crisp and white, and for a couple of nights, I couldn't sleep well because of the noise from the street outside.

The staff was very friendly and addressed our requests immediately. The breakfast was great and had a good variety of foods to choose from. the hotel's location was perfect as we were able to walk to all the locations we visited during our business trip.

The decor and facilities were a little outdated, which could use some upgrading. , the noise from the main road made it difficult to get a good night's sleep.
